  2. Students of Secondary and Senior Secondary classes may be asked to keep a watch on COVID trends in various countries. On the basis of data collected , articles for publication online or in magazines may be submitted . They may write letters to the editors of the newspapers also . Some of them may be selected by school for posting on school websites while language teachers may use them for assessment or practice .
An example of how learners can be brought closer to the reality through experiential learning.

    1. Really it is very good & children will get the exposure to express themselves and promote creative writing.English language/communication can be improved through this experiential learning. I do personally realised as a teacher that every topic of discussion in the classroom has to be connected with real situations irrespective of the subject we teach to create interest in the children.

  4. Experiential learning is an opportunity for learners to apply what they've been taught to solve real-world challenges. Learners test their understanding of underlying principles, processes and procedures and can experiment and adapt their practice to achieve best outcomes.
A good initiative by the CBSE.

  5. Learners can improve, and know they have improved, in as little as an hour because of the feedback loop created by problem solving, feedback and practicing again. *In a traditional classroom setting, learners often do not know if they are on the path to success until they take an exam and get a score*. Do we know when we start learning?
As the life start we start learning.
Simple example is when some body call us immediately we turn towards the voice.
Touching a hot vessel: We learn if the vessel is hot it hurts so we don't touch.
As soon as weather changes we our selves change our lifestyle.
Morning going to school: Staff & children both wake up and get ready for school.Like dressing up & make our bag ready. But what about if it's a holiday. Routine changes it self.
Moving on two wheeler: Put on mask and wear helmet .means automatically we start acting accordingly. And if we are travelling in car then put on seat belt before starting the car. --Have we ever seen that a person going with family in car is wearing helmet? Answer will come NO.
This is what learning from experience. We as a teacher should bring examples from our day to day life. Let we make our class rooms more close to experiences from DAILY life.
So that our children achieve the ultimate aim of education which is LEARN TO LIVE LIFE.

  7. It is a good initiative by cbse.
Experiential learning provides platform where learner can solve problems with his / her experience. knowledge is created through the transformation of experience.
Experiential learning is concerned with more concrete issues related to the learner and the learning context. It will be beneficial for learners and make more confident.

  9. Learning based on experience is the actual leaning as it makes everybody a actual learner and develop a cohisevness between the learner and the content and this initiative of CBSE during this evolving time when we have to prepare ourselves to combat with Coming challenges is so elevating. So being a teacher I am ready to learn and make my students to learn how experience should percolate from books to life and life to books.

  11. The main Motto of teaching is to aware the students about concepts behind the topics . If concepts had been cleared about a particular topic , then it is very easier for them to solve the problems. Experiential learning play important role in teaching . It will reduce rote memorisation . Students are able to solve the problems when they connect the problems to real life situations . Learning should be effective, understanding capacity should be raised . Students progress graph will be increased . Kamal Joshi Great Mission Public School , Himmatpur Block , Ramnagar(Nainital)
